Work, Sex, Money: The Dharma of Everyday Living
With David Nichtern
Friday, February 24, 7:15pm-9:00pmMeditation is not a matter of withdrawing - you are not drawing in, retreating from the world. In fact, you are getting into the world. ~ Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche
We all hope that work, sex, and money will be a source of fulfillment and pleasure. Yet they are also sources of problems for which we seek practical advice and solutions. Work, sex, and money are just as much a part of our spiritual life as they are a part of our everyday existence. This workshop is based on original teachings by Shambhala founder Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche in the Fall of 1970, soon after his arrival in the West. Join Senior Teacher David Nichtern (who attended one of the original Work, Sex, Money seminars) for this exploration of Trungp
a Rinpoche's vision of unifying the dharma and everyday life - as fresh and timely now as it was in 1970.This workshop will include lectures, discussion, meditation instruction and practice.
Open to all levels!
